When it comes to getting rid of back and chest hair, there are no perfect solutions. But here are some options to explore and find out which works best for you: 1) Shaving with a razor: This is probably the simplest and least expensive. You will probably have to do this 2-3 times per week, so we recommend using a shaving cream that is high in lubrication to protect your skin and avoid irritation, dryness and ingrown hairs (these are more common given the larger area being shaved.) The main drawback of shaving is that it doesn’t last long, but you get great results in the shower; 2) Laser hair removal: This is a good option, but quite expensive. Results can last up to 2-3 months in some cases; 3) Cream hair removal (products such as Nair for Men): This option is cheap, but it can irritate your skin. Results last just slightly longer than with shaving; 4) Electrolysis: This has great permanent results and isn’t very expensive. The only drawback is that it’s a bit impractical for large areas (you might want to only use it for your neck and the top of your chest). You might need several sessions over several months. We recommend you visit an electrolysis expert for an estimate.
