Although it’s sometime difficult to specifically pinpoint what skin type you have, here are some basic guidelines to keep in mind: If your face is frequently shiny and you break out on your nose or forehead (the “T-Zone”) while other areas remain smooth, then you probably have combination skin (areas of oiliness and dryness); if your face feels oily or slick all over, you probably have oily skin; if your skin feels tight after washing, and frequently flakes, you probably have dry skin; if your skin often reddens and is irritated easily by outside factors or products, then you probably have sensitive skin; if your face feels smooth and firm to the touch, does not flake frequently or get overly-oily, then you have normal skin.
