Billing Credit Card Errors MenScience FAQ

Why has my account been charged when my order didn’t go through?

IF IT’S AN AVS MISMATCH:
Our records show your attempts at placing an order, but an effective order was not completed because of an address mismatch. That is, the billing information which you provided did not match the billing information that your bank has on record, therefore the transaction was declined. There has been no charge placed on your account, only an unsuccessful authorization attempt. That authorization attempt will disappear from your online statement in a few business days, and it will never show in your printed statement. In order to successfully complete your order, the billing address you provide must match what the bank has on file.

IF IT’S AN INCORRECT CVV CODE:
Our records show your attempts at placing an order, but an effective order was declined because you entered the wrong security code (also known as the CVV code). There has been no charge placed on your account, only an unsuccessful authorization attempt. That authorization attempt will disappear from your online statement in a few business days, and it will never show in your printed statement. In order to successfully complete your order, you must enter the correct CVV code.
