Throughout my life, my weight has always fluctuated greatly. I’ll be overweight for a while and then hit the gym to get in shape. It’s a cycle that I had grown used to until I decided to keep the excess weight off for good last January. I’m happy to say that it’s been over a year since I made that commitment and I’ve managed to keep off the 30+ pounds I lost.
What’s my secret? Consistency. Whether you’re starting a new weight-loss program, a new men’s skincare routine or any other healthy lifestyle change, it’s unlikely you’ll see results overnight. And once you do start seeing results, it’s easy to get complacent.
The key is to stick with it once you get started. You may get discouraged because you might not see results as fast as you want, but they will come – trust me. When the pounds fall off (and stay off), when the acne breakouts are gone, when your complexion is at its best… it’ll be all worth it.
