Change Your Workout Routine Regularly

As part of my cardio routine, I’ve been using the treadmill at the gym for the past three months. I’m usually pretty good about motivating myself to hit the gym, but lately I’ve been finding it harder and harder to get off the couch and go. Let’s face it: Doing the same routine day after day gets boring – and I was bored.

So instead of sitting at home and letting my lack of motivation get worse, I took charge. I rediscovered my love for tennis (I played a lot when I was younger) and got a few friends together to play. It was a great workout and took advantage of the nice weather here in South Florida. It was just the thing I needed to start being active again, and I can’t wait to do it again. To make sure it’s not a one-time thing, I even bought a new racquet and tennis shoes!

Here’s my advice to you: If you’re tired of the same old fitness routine, mix things up. Take some gym classes, work out with a friend…anything to get the ball rolling again. And the same goes for your skincare and grooming routines.

If you’ve been following the same regimen for years, switch things around. Always use a face wash? Use a face scrub instead for a few days out of the week. Tired of hair pomade? See how a hair gel can open up a whole new world of looks.  For some ideas on skincare routines, check out “The Right Men’s Skincare Regimen for Your Skin Type.”
