Green Tea Can Help You Feel Full

I’m a huge fan of green tea in all its forms and uses, and if you’re a MenScience user, you probably know that we use green tea extensively in our skincare and nutritional products (e.g. green tea face mask and Thermogenic  Formula). I always have my matcha green tea after lunch (instead of coffee) so I wasn’t surprised when I came across a study published by the Nutrition Journal that suggests that green tea may increase feelings of fullness and satiety after the consumption of a meal when compared with plain water.

Why is this important? Satiety is your body’s signal to stop eating because you have had enough food, and most of us tend to eat more than we should or need. So reaching satiety means that you’re probably not ingesting all those additional calories that you don’t need. Cut enough calories and you’ll start to lose weight! – Federico
