Have Fun in the Sun — Responsibly

I’m a huge believer in sunscreen and you should make sure you use it whenever you’re going to be spending time in the sun. Having said that, I would add a couple of caveats from my own experience.

First, make sure you wash your face well in the evening if you have applied a sunscreen; good water-proof sunscreens have ingredients that create a barrier that prevents the active ingredients of a men’s anti-aging cream or men’s moisturizer from being absorbed.

Second, your skin needs some exposure to sunlight to be able to manufacture vitamin D (doctors say that probably about 5-10 minutes a day is enough). You’ll be hearing a lot more about vitamin D deficiencies since  scientists are discovering that this is probably the biggest vitamin deficiency in adults.
